My "Piece Of Disney Movie" display

These two shadow boxes hold 12 pins each with the backing made from 2 inch Disneyland Lanyards. The mounting boards are painted flat white on the back and strips of white LEDs mounted between the columns of pins. The LEDs light the inside of the back of each box which is also flat white and reflects a very flat light toward the back of the pins. there is a frame size hole cut behind each pin to allow light to shine through the film. 

Collected one pin each month for two years, this is one of my favorite displays of pins. The LEDs can be powered by a 9 volt battery for up to 30 hours or connected to a 9 volt transformer.
