macngreg Posted Monday at 02:28 PM Posted Monday at 02:28 PM Hello, I know that Bauble Bar is authorized to make and sell Disney Pins. Can they be traded in the parks on boards and with Cast Members? I have seen LoungeFly pins there, but some people consider them less desirable. Some of the pins are already in PinPics, so people could choose to trade them, but are they considered "authorized trading pins"? Thanks! Mac Quote
TheTwins Posted Monday at 02:43 PM Posted Monday at 02:43 PM Hi! Yes, Baublebar is a licensed Disney merchant, and their pins have ©Disney on the back. As long as a pin has ©Disney, you can trade it. (That actually includes ©Marvel and ©Lucasfilm Ltd., as they are now Disney companies.) So, yes . . . you could trade Baublebar pins at the Parks. If you've never seen a Baublebar pin, they are very nice quality! As to Loungefly pins being less desirable, of course that is each individual trader. Some people think the old pins are not as nice as new ones and vice-versa. Sort of depends on each person's taste. A Baublebar pin would be just like trading a Loungefly pin. Completely acceptable. They would definitely stand out on a Parks board, too! 1 Quote
macngreg Posted Tuesday at 08:12 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 08:12 PM I actually have quite a few Baublebar pins. I am definitely a fan. They are great pins, generously sized, great colors and characters, and the prices are very reasonable. I do need to add some to the data base because I have pins that aren't in yet (and more on the way). Thanks for letting me know that they are authorized traders. Maybe i'll add a few in the future. 1 Quote
