cdrive Posted March 26 Posted March 26 From my introductory post, I had four pins yet unidentified. I'm still attempting to identify the two Jack Skellington heads. I will do my best before I post here for help. Yesterday evening I identified the Minnie pin; after examining it, what I thought was her wearing a tracksuit holding a coin was actually her wearing scrubs holding her stethoscope's bell (109710). As far as the remaining pin, I took some pictures with my phone last night (sorry) using 2X magnification, but I did use a 10X loupe ahead of the lens. Just a few minutes ago, I identified this pin as 75471, but I've decided to post these regardless. I feel certain this pin is counterfeit, but you may find the pictures fascinating. They are only of its reverse. Its nubs are unusually short. Authentic and official, you say? I've never been to Dirvey Parks. That poor T. Copyright D1sney. And the bottom. What may not be clear is the Mickey waffling pattern that's cast or stamped(?) is not as deep as my other pins. Also, the waffling pattern does not extend to the pin's edge giving a faux border to the reverse. Despite the backside's flaws, I rather like this pin, though I feel a little disappointed that the trade came from a cast member. Jeff Quote
Solution Dragon57 Posted March 26 Solution Posted March 26 @cdrive You have in fact pointed out every issue that says this pin is a fake. The boarder in your last picture is a common tell for fakes. Another one is the FIRST RELEASE is in the same box as the date logo, which as you pointed out has several issues of it's own. Someone has tried to fix the copyright Disney. 2 Quote
