I noticed that there! At first, I thought someone had their shirt on backwards, but then I noticed that different people had them different ways.

There are still more photos that I thought I'd be posting from the event . . . but here some of them are anyway! These show the Ticket to Ride raffle tables. You could purchase tickets in the various colors and then drop them into the bags on the corresponding tables for any item or grouping that you wanted to try to win. There were some great things there, and it was lots of fun checking it all out. We even won a Star Wars set that had a LEGO kit, some itty-bitty Funko Pops and a lanyard/pin set!

Still sifting through and sorting pictures, so I thought I'd post a few more fun things from the Dayton Disneyana convention. It was just such an amazing time to meet so many friends for the first time in person.

And one more tonight . . . this is me with Ken @Dragon57. This was on the first night before the convention had even "officially" started (though you wouldn't have guessed by the amount of us already there trading pins). Can you tell that we were pretty excited to be chatting in person, instead of via ZOOM?! 

 

 

 

I'll have some more stuff to post as I finish sorting pictures. This convention is always the weekend before Father's Day, so block off your calendars for next year, and maybe this will be a bigger get-together than this year was!

It was so nice getting to meet @TheTwins at Dayton Disneyana! And believe me, I took the opportunity to tell them how very much I appreciate all their time and effort to research pins, find pins, and educate all of us with their knowledge about pins.  They are an amazing duo and I hope everyone had the same opportunity to tell them how important they are to the pin collecting/trading/selling community.

 

Because I worked as a volunteer at the Dayton Disneyana event, I didn't have a lot of time to spend out at the trading tables, but everyone in the PinPics group was so welcoming during the short amount of time I was able to spend trading.  And thanks to @d.ducks, I made my first PinPics trade -- how exciting!!  @mollyanne and Joe set the tone for a kind and responsible pin trading community.  And I love being a part of it!

 

I hope everyone had a great time at Dayton Disneyana!  Thanks to the generosity of attendees, we were able to raise a lot of money to help feed children in the Carrollton School District.  A great event for a great cause.

 

So nice to meet everyone in person.  Hope to see everyone soon!

Great weekend meeting the PinPics family in person.  Steven and I had a great time. Can't wait to be together again!
