TheTwins Posted June 17 Posted June 17 ANNOUNCEMENT! Hope Hotel in Dayton (which is the hotel attached to the conference center where the Disneyana convention takes place) is now accepting reservations with special rates for Disneyana 2026 attendees. It was such a great place for a large PinPics meet-up this year that we're hoping to make it just as amazing (and maybe even bigger) next year! The convention will take place on Jun 12-14, 2026. To get a room, you have to call the hotel directly at 937-879-2696 and request a room in the "Disneyana Block". You have to request a First Floor room when you make your reservation, if that's important. The entire building is smoke-free. Rooms are $119.00 per night at the Disneyana rate. (This rate can't be booked online.) They do run out of rooms before the convention opens, so don't wait to long to book! Credit cards used to make reservations are not charged until you check in in June 2026. They're only used to reserve the room, in case you don't show up. (If you're requesting a first floor room when you make your reservation, they are saying you shouldn't wait too long -- they go first!) Several of us have already booked, so see you there! TheTwins Posted June 17 Author Posted June 17 Had some reports of people being turned away from making reservations too far in advance. Called Hope Hotel just now and talked to the reservations desk. They have now put in a note to the system and the reservations book that informs all employees at the desk to accept reservations for Disneyana. The block does not have a ton of rooms in it, so booking in advance is advised. If anyone calls and gets turned away, please just send us a PM and let us know. TheTwins Posted June 20 Author Posted June 20 @jchinj Mario just reminded me that Dayton also has an International airport! He says that Delta, United and American have flights out there at about $275. They're only booking through May, but you won't have to wait long to book for June. It would also be affordable to uber from there to the hotel and not need a rental car. 1 Quote
