Is this a boo-boo kitty? It looks ok but I know these get faked a lot. There's what looks like a slight rust spot on the back

I believe that your pin is not authentic. The back doesn't look good.

@Fillnagle Your pin has a boarder on the back. That series does not have a boarder.
