How long does it take for Admins to approve new pin submissions?

Hey. I’ve tried to add some pins from HKDL but didn’t receive any feedback from Admins. As this is my first time trying to add pins to the database, I wanna see if I’ve done anything wrong. So I wanna check how long does it take for Admins to approve new pin submissions? And if my submissions were denied (or approved), will I be informed?

Hi! Thanks for wanting to help the PinPics database grow. We always appreciate that!

 

Pin submissions have to be checked and edited to match the database standards, so it can take up to several days for us to make it through all the submissions. And if it's a really busy time, it could be a little longer, since the same team is responsible for adding all new pin releases into the system. We try to stay on top of this as quickly as possible, because we understand that everyone is waiting to see new pins added to the database.

 

When your submissions are approved, you will receive a notification to your account (which will show in the notification bell at the top right of your screen). If a submission doesn't follow the guidelines for adding a pin and/or taking a photo, you'll receive a message to let you know!
