Camera feature and pins not found

First, I love the app. Just struggling a bit as I find the camera feature doesn’t find the pins. Is there a suggested angle, lighting or setting that is optimal? I end up having to type search, which is time consuming. Also, I have several pins not on there, including parts of mystery sets which don’t show up on the linked pins either with the rest of them. Found that strange. Thanks for any tips!

Hi there! Yes the app is amazing. So here are my tips on using the camera. Try not to have anything busy in the background. If you are holding it in your hand try to just get the pin in the camera view to take the picture. Some older pins have horrible pictures and are hard for the Google Lens feature to find. Also - if you have pins not in our database send pictures of them to molly@pinpics.com. I will try to find them and if they are not there are you up for taking some pics if I give you the instructions on what to do? You will earn points in our Loyalty Program!
