TheTwins Posted January 6 Posted January 6 The PinPics Admin Team hopes you all had a good New Year's holiday. Moving into 2026, we're pleased to release a new method for submitting pins for inclusion in the ever-growing Database here on PinPics. In an effort to simplify the entire process, we now have a dedicated forum board for submissions. The link in your menu bar will take you right there, just like always! You can also access the area directly through the forum itself: https://pinpics.com/forums/forum/76-submit-a-pin-to-the-database/ Once you've been a PinPics member for 30 days or more and have a forum post-count of three or more, simply create a thread in the board linked above to suggest a pin for submission to the database. That's one thread for each pin. Posts are held for private moderation, and the PinPics team will work to add pins as quickly as possible. Please remember, there are only a few of us, and most are volunteers, so we may not add pins right away. How to Submit: Create a post in the board for each pin submission. Remember, you must be a member for thirty days before posting here. You must include cropped photos of the front and back of the pin you are submitting. Check out our Photo Taking Guidelines to make sure that the photos you submit are usable. If they do not follow these guidelines, we will not be able to accept them. You must take the photos you submit yourself. We do not accept submissions using art. Include as much information about the pin as you can (i.e., where or when it was released, name of set, where it's being sold, original price, edition size, SKU, dimensions, etc.). The more information included by you, the faster the pin will be added to the database. The pin must be officially licensed on the back by Disney or one of their official companies. Include the year on the back of the pin (if applicable). It can be difficult for us to read from photos. If the submission is part of a set that is already partially included in the database, you must supply the PP#s for linking. We do not add Fantasy pins to the database. We do not add listings for Pre-production (PP) or Artist Proof (AP) pins. If a pin is not in the database and you have an AP or PP, feel free to submit. Pins are added as normal, and users may use the "My Pin Notes" field (included with PLUS and PREMIUM memberships) to specify if their pin is actually an AP or PP. Thank you to everyone who continues to help the PinPics database grow! Molly, Joe, Sarah & Elizabeth 15 8
TheTwins Posted 14 hours ago Author Posted 14 hours ago A quick reply to say that we have adjusted the Submit-a-Pin board to require members to have a forum-post count of three posts to be able to submit a pin. We have a small team dedicated to adding pins to the database, and we appreciate everyone who helps the site grow. When you submit a pin, please make sure that the pin is not already listed in the database. Duplicate submissions are deleted. If you're not sure, feel free to post pictures of your pin in the Pin ID board where a number of members will be glad to assist in searching. If your pin is not in the database and you decide to submit, please check out our Photo Guidelines and make sure that all your images match what we need. Thanks so much! 1 2
