Earning points to increase rank

Hey everyone!

 

I was wondering what actions earn points to increase rank (for example, going from Mouseketeer to the next level). I trade, leave positive feedback, post in forums (though I may not be posting in the correct sections), reply to messages, visit PinPics frequently, and I am a premium member but my point total never seems to change.

 

I’ve checked the Help section but haven’t been able to find clear information on how points are actually awarded. Could someone please explain what counts toward rank advancement?

 

At the bottom of the picture attached it lists the rank.
