@FabulousStamper Your displays are absolutely beautiful and certainly win some sort of creative award! The Beauty and the Beast library frame is so unique. Wow! In fact, it's all so inspiring that I can't pick one out from the other. Definitely love the Pluto's Christmas Tree display. I would imagine that a lot of people wish they had these to hang in their house. We have a cat-themed room (been rescuing kitties for a lot of years), and the cat-scratching trees are a great idea. We have the Loungefly set that forms a large cat tree, and that definitely needs to end up in a frame in there after seeing your photos!

I'm going to tag @ChapterThreeArt -- Melanie, you need to check out the BATB display a few posts up!

And tagging @pattim, hoping she will post a photo of her really cool pin wall, which is so uniquely done with frame borders.

@JennysPicks @IsaacSycamore

thanks! I didn’t realize these were so different until I started sharing them with people. It’s pretty cool. I’m working on a library/book one for the recent sidekicks with books pins from Loungefly (?). My brain just comes up with stuff.  🤣🤣🤣

I LOVE that! Please share it when you've completed it!

This is such a fun topic.  Let’s see some pictures of everyone’s displays.  I’m hoping to finish up a new crossword puzzle and my Prep and Landing frame. Can some of you creative folks give me a suggestion for Prep and Landing?

@TheTwinsThank you for the compliment! Always working on it, never seem to finish it before I change something 🤣

@ViciousLadyI agree. Beauty and the Beast is gorgeous too. That was a labor of love but worth it. The Cat scratchers are also so fun. It’s been fun coming up with scratchers for each cat. I love my Oliver one too.

I’m a cat lady too. I loved making these. I made a set for my niece too. I have tutorials for most of these on YT and reels on all the socials if you want to see the exact measurements.

I have the LF pin set too. It’s funny how I look at it now and this how funny it is I created a 3D version! I love the creativity of using pins to feed my passion for paper crafting.

Hello, I would love to see pictures of the “stuff” you come up with for your pins.  The library book sounds so interesting. I have the big storybooks from D23 and need an idea for them.

I sometimes use my pins to tell the story. This s what I chose for Meet the Robinson’s.

And sometimes I like to give myself a challenge.

I wish I had a large room to display all my Alice pins but I have nearly 30 of the 24 x 36 cork boards.

Love this

Such fun ideas! I haven't quite figured out how I'd like to display it just yet, but I made a challenge for myself in 2024 to collect as many wedding-themed pins I could before my Sept 2024 wedding date. We got married in Hawaii, so I also ended up collecting some awesome themed pins to add to the group too. I plan to make a shadow box display and hang it next to our wedding photo 🥰

@buzz2001 I liked your Mickey head flag board.  Are the pins that are similar have a different backstamp?  I got that with my Alice pins, same pin design but different backstamp.

Yes, the ones at the bottom that look similar on the front have different backs and years.

That's a great question, and @buzz2001 and I were just talking about this the other night with his flag pins!

Actually, yes -- there are a LOT of different versions when it comes to some of the flag icon pins. We're actually in the middle of making some series lists to help out with these pins.

If you're collecting USA flag Mickey-icon pins, then we're compiling a clickable list for any in the database. You can check that out here:

And if you're looking for specific versions of the original eleven-pin Mickey Icon Flag set that was released for the World Showcase countries, then I've been working on a Pin Series List for those, as there are quite a number of different backstamps for all of those. Here's a link to that, which includes a key at the top to explain what is different with each version.

And just a quick note for everyone reading this -- It's important to double-check the back of your pin whenever you're cataloging. If you end up with a pin which appears to have a different backstamp than any listed in the database, feel free to ask about it in the PIN ID board. If it's not in the database, please submit it! We are working to get different versions listed, since it's important to know which pin you are trading/cataloging.

A different backstamp is anytime that the words/logos/info changes, except that we do not create listings when the only thing that changes is the small date in the Official Pin logo on the back. Many pins were produced over multiple years, and only the date changed.

Thanks to @TheTwins for making these Mickey icon flag series lists.  I have one of each World Showcase flag pin, but I need to update which versions I have of each.  Time to bust out the books and play with pins!

Absolutely, but I warn you . . . the flag icons are addictive. They can be a very slippery slope. Stay tuned for a post specifically about them sooner than later! I'm working on them a lot and just getting all the listings updated and linked correctly, etc. Once I feel like I have them all sorted out, I'm going to post about them, as they are pretty cool!
