Preparing for first pin trading adventure

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

So I have started sorting my pins into keepers and traders, and building my first trader board, questions:

1- do you organize your traders by value then character?

2- Do you break up sets or only trade entire set, see picture, I am thinking the Silly Symphonies could be okay to trade individually but coke set would be all or nothing

3-What about my 25th button, is that tradeable?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated, thanks

1- I have fewer than 150 traders, so my "organization" tactic is to fit as many in my Pinfolio as possible, leaving very little negative space.

2- I try to avoid breaking up complete sets as much as possible.  It takes effort to finish and keep a set together, and I don't want to waste that effort.

3- As long as the other trader is aware that it is a button and not an enamel pin, I see no problem with trading it!  I have noticed many buttons listed here on the database that are available for trade.

That's my 2 cents!  Happy trading!

Thanks, appreciate the feedback!  I think I will try and keep the sets together after all it really seems like a better approach.
