utbeautyandthebean Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Hello! So, I have about a dozen shadows boxes that house my top pin collections and I’ve recently found some beautiful WDI castle pins that I want to showcase as well. What are you doing to showcase your large or rare pins outside of pinfolios or other pin books? Example included below! (Pin pictured is 4”x5”) 1 Quote
ViciousLady Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago I think about these jumbo pins as 'centerpieces' so I'm thinking for some of mine to put them in the middle of a display with smaller similar themed pins around them. I'm not really sure though, but I can't wait to see more suggestions, there are some brilliant display designers around here! Kind of shame they are SO big because they look like postage and it would be cute to display them on a board with 'Letters'. 1 Quote
utbeautyandthebean Posted 14 hours ago Author Posted 14 hours ago (edited) I certainly do use the centerpiece concept and wasn’t sure if that was normal or not, but since at least one other does as well, maybe I could go that route, too! I just have the 3 castle pin of this collection that I’ve been to (Florida, California and Tokyo), and was thinking that maybe I could frame them individually on this wall along side the artwork? But yeah, so excited for others’ ideas! Edited 14 hours ago by utbeautyandthebean 2 2 Quote
ViciousLady Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I love your pin frame boxes! Where did you get those? 1 Quote

I’ve tried a variety but I liked these ones I found on Amazon. They have a clasp on the outside so you can just open the door from the front so it’s easy to add or move pins! “Collectors Medal Display” from Display Gifts - but I will warn you, they aren’t cheap and can take weeks to get to you, but out of every variation of tried, they are a much better quality and you can hang vertical or horizontal, and the plexiglass keeps the dust off! 1 1 Quote
ViciousLady Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Keeps the dust off is the winner for me, thanks for letting know, I'll look into them. 2 Quote
