pudinpopvero Posted yesterday at 08:11 PM Posted yesterday at 08:11 PM Hi everyone! I found this pin while trading in WDW all the way back in 2017 on a cast member's pouch in the Mexico Pavillion. Is this authentic or has it been faked? Also it came with this scuffing on the bottom left edge, do you think it's still okay to trade? Thank you guys for your insight Quote
sithathoriunet Posted yesterday at 08:55 PM Posted yesterday at 08:55 PM I've never seen a real Disney Auctions pin, so I can't speak to authenticity, but you can definitely still trade a scuffed pin, as long as you disclose the damage and send good photos so the other trader can make an informed decision. Some people only trade damaged pins at in-person events, so it's easier to show areas of concern. Quote
buzz2001 Posted yesterday at 09:42 PM Posted yesterday at 09:42 PM Check it against PP29712. The limited edition looks like it is not straight compared to the back in the listing. Phil’s be the picture Quote
jmyster Posted yesterday at 10:11 PM Posted yesterday at 10:11 PM I love Disney Auctions pins, during their ebay yearsI bought a number of them directly from Disney. I am not a pin expert, but I took some pictures of 2 of my pins for your review, one has a more open gold hammer back like the one you posted, the other is a darker metal and the hammers are closer together. As said i personally purchased these from DA and know they are genuine. I will also say that the Disney auction pins seem slightly heavier and have a very solid feel. Hope this helps Quote
buzz2001 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago I think you are good. I don't think DA pins have been faked. Quote
