Were Stitch Surfing Series PP48347 Missing the LE250 on the back of the pin?

I was recently told that my factory sealed stitch surfing series pins are fakes. Upon opening one of the pins, it was discovered that they do not contain the LE 250 mark on the back of the pin even tho they are labeled LE 250 on the back of the packing/sku label attached to the original packaging. These pins are from 2006 and were part of my brothers exclusive collection. Any info anyone has regarding this series would be appreciated! Thank you so much!

The pin description states that the edition size is not on the pin back.  This is common on some DA/DS pins.
