It’s hard trying to authenticate!

I received a package yesterday that included a pin that I thought was not authentic.  I contacted the seller with pic of the pin.  I was told it was 100% authentic, the pin was so old it was before the day of counterfeits, they didn’t even think it had been faked, that they didn’t see any colors that were off (as I had mentioned that), that it’s age could cause discoloration and the pin in question had been re released so many times  there always could be discrepancies….does anyone own this pin or have they seen a counterfeit?———The 2nd one…could it have been a “printing” mistake like the Jauray 2000 pin?

The Tigger & Rabbit Tradin pin you have is a fake. The real pin is a limited edition of 2500 and the date is 2002.

Here's the pin in PinPics.

Your Animal Kingdom pin is missing the writing and the eyes for Mickey & Minnie. So it is probably fake. Here's what the real pin looks like.
