Origin of pins

Hello from Belgium, meaning don't look at my english, skip errors please. Lately the origin of a pin becomes an issue for me, too many "multiple". Wondering if I submit a new pin and put Shop Disney would not that suit better if the pin releases all over the world through Shops Disney? I would like to understand how fellow collectors read the origin of pins. does DIS means America only? In general pins coming out on SD Europe also become available in the UK, but not always and the same for pins coming out in the UK not always will be released on SD Europe. And multiple for pins released DLR and WDW only seems such a waste of information for me. Am I wrong?
