TheTwins Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Just heard from someone that all six of the Pin Trading Scoop character pins are available at the Orlando Airport Disney Store right now! So, if you're heading down there and on the lookout for these pins, be sure to check at the airport. They also have a pin trading board there. 2 Quote
swim2sea Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I am blessed to actually able to say I know Scoop (aka Holland). Not only was he a "Main" attraction on Main Street but he is a wonderful person off Main Street. I'm so lucky to have been able to collect all the Scoop pins shown in his Eras Tour and then a few extra. He is the highlight of my pin trading pin board. It would be wonderful if Disney brought him back for the 25th Anniversary of Pin Trading. If you haven't had the privilege of knowing Holland you are missing out on getting the best pin information in the world. Main Street isn't the same without him but at least I get to see him at pin events. Thank you Scoop for all your years educating and helping pin traders from around the world. We miss you! 3 2 Quote
TheTwins Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Just got back from a couple weeks in FLA, during which time we spent quite a few afternoons and evenings out at Disney Springs and various resorts. They have the six Scoop Character pins everywhere down there, beginning with the two Disney stores in the Orlando Airport. They were included with all the LE and special pins behind glass at Disney Springs. The stock was hanging behind the register in Pin Traders, but there is no purchase limit on them (being OE rack pins). And other places at Disney Springs were also stocked well, including Days of Christmas: Disney Marketplace (Disney Springs) World of Disney We also found them at various resort shops . . . Port Orleans French Quarter (Jackson's) Port Orleans Riverside (Fulton's General Store) Old Key West (Conch Flats) Saratoga Springs (Artist's Palette) Polynesian Village (Bou-Tiki) Grand Floridian (M. Mouse Mercantile) Grand Floridian (Sandy Cove Gifts) Wilderness Lodge (Mercantile) We saw a lot of people purchasing these (and it was a wide variety of the characters), and a number of people wearing them on their lanyards. Interestingly (but not surprising), it was the Scoop Mickey pin that people were wearing! 3 1 Quote
