Front Description
This is a counterfeit version of Pinpics #10150 Cast Member Service Award Pin - 45 Years (Walt and Mickey). Walt Disney sits forward and slightly left on a wooden stool. His left hand rests on his lap. On his right leg sits Mickey, facing right. A "45" is at the base of this mostly oval pin.
Although this counterfeit tries to duplicate the basic design of the original pin, a close eye will reveal many differences. The "45" is more pronounced on the counterfeit. Throughout the pin you see a lack of crispness to the original, from the lack of a line for the sole of Walt\'s shoes to detail in his face and jacket. Mickey's face is virtually non-existent on the fake version.Also, the overall graininess of the gold-metal pin is much greater than the authentic.
The pin measures 1" (25 mm) tall by 1/2" (14 mm) and has a single post with nub on the reverse. There is a "© Disney" near the bottom.
