PP10306    DIS - Mickey - NYPD - Policeman

Mickey is dressed as a policeman. Red and white stripes (that represent the American Flag) are behind Mickey, white stars in a blue circle around Mickey. In red writing underneath Mickey, it says NYPD. Released only in the NYC Disney stores on 5th Avenue and off of Times Square. The first batch sold very quickly. This is the "sister" pin to pin # 8609 that was also released by the NYC Gallery store subsequent to the 9/11 terrorist attack. A soft epoxy-type coating over the pin has yellowed over time, so the pin has an orange tint.
