This Cast Member Exclusive commemorative pin celebrates the 55th anniversary of the Disneyland © Resort Monorail attraction. The shape is that of a lunch box with a thermos hanging below it as a "dangle" element. The picture of the side of the lunch box, which is framed in a blue line, is a stylized view of a Monorail Train rounding the Matterhorn Bobsled and the Submarine attractions, with Autopia to the right, and above it can be seen the Skyway attraction. The whole scene is a palate of primary and pastel colors. Below is a brown banner it has in gold, "MONORAIL EST. 1959."
Below the lunch box hanging sideways by a gold link is a stylized thermos bottle with a red cup cap with finger hold. The picture on the bottle is that of Sleeping Beauty's castle in grey, pink and blue, above which on a blue sky it has "Disneyland" in logo script.
The pin back has one post top center on a gold Mickey icon waffle pattern that runs off the edges. To its left is the 2014 ODPT logo. A box below that has "CAST EXCLUSIVE LIMITED EDITION 500." Below that to the left it has "©DISNEY China," and to the right of that is the embossed # P389-7448-2-14121. On the thermos is a box with "©DISNEY CHINA."
The pin measures approx. 1½" x 2¼" with the dangle.
