Front Description
This round pin has an image of the Mickey Mouse head hot air balloon, facing right. It is either a black or extremely dark blue color; this differentiates the design from (#10887) which is similar in pose but features a reddish-orange Mickey. At top and wrapping clockwise to the right is "WALT DISNEY WORLD". At left and wrapping counter-clockwise to the bottom is "EARFORCE ONE". Words are in gold. The background is white. Gold metal; enamel coated bubble-type pin.
It is reported that this pin was given to members of the Earforce One crew and support staff. In addition, some pins were given to special Guests and on-lookers.
The pin measures 7/8 inch (22 mm) diameter. The back has a waffle pattern and a single post with nub; note that (#10887) has an old-style straight back with clasp. There are no other markings on the reverse.
