**This listing is for the Framed Black Metal Prototype Pin version of Pin #22303**
One of only four prototype pins for the Limited Edition pin created for the 2003 Disney Pin Trader Convention Measuring 2.5" this pin is one of four black metal prototypes created for the gold finished pins that were issued in a limited edition of 100. The final pins were released May 22, 2003. The pin is professionally mounted and framed along with one of six pages of the original design art for the pin. The art features a blue/lead pencil preliminary drawing showing full body image of Mickey Mouse kicking a pin over his shoulder and onto lanyard he wears around his neck. Created by John Loter, who has signed his name in pencil at lower left as well as adding "03" date. Additional editorial notes including color scheme for finished pin and "Pin Trader 1 Of 6" notation at lower right. Original pin backing card and Disney Auctions COA are attached to the back of the frame.
