Another one of many examples of various recreations of stamps put out as legal postage in various countries, converted into the pin medium. This and other stamps were sold at the U.S. Postal Service as well as other locations. The pin was created by the Jayne Company of Los Angeles.
The text at the bottom says:

That makes the production date of this pin 1979.
