This Cast Exclusive pin is the fourth in a series of four commemorating four Disney theme park attractions that were introduced at the New York World's Fair in 1964. The fourth pin commemorates "Primeval World".
The pin is a multi-colored stylized rendition of "Primeval World Diorama", "50th Anniversary New York's World Fair".
The pin is mounted on the left side of a unique backer card. At the top of the card, which is decorated with abstract designs in several pastel colors, it has "50th Anniversary New York World's Fair - Primeval World Diorama - Fourth in a Series of Four."
Below that in white on a purple background it has, "The New York World's Fair held in 1964-65 introduced to the world four new attractions that still exist in Disney theme parks today. The Magic Skyway exhibit included a Primeval World diorama which featured several varieties of prehistoric creatures represented by Audio-Animatronics figures, set in a misty swamp and filled with all sorts of primeval dangers. Guests were transported to a prehistoric land that left them filled with awe at the primordial wonders and thankful for their modern world. These same dinosaurs still fill spectators with wonder as they are transported by the spectacle today.
The pin back has one post near top center on a gold Mickey icon waffle pattern that extends past the edges without borders. There are three stamped sections below the post, and one box above the post. The box above has the code P389-7448-2 14166. Below is the 2014 ODPT logo. Below that it has "CAST EXCLUSIVE LIMITED EDITION 500," and below that it has "©DISNEY CHINA."
The pin measures approx. 1 5/8" x 1 1/2" and the backer card is 3" x 5"
which comes in a sealed cellophane envelope.
