Front Description
A framed set celebrating the 50th anniversary of the original theatrical release of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The 11 1/2" by 9 1/2" wood frame is similar to what was normally used by Disney in the 1980s, Eight pins circle around a gold plaque which reads, "50th ANNIVERSARY SNOW WHITE 1987". Black background and no matting on the edges.
Snow White, dancing with two bunny rabbits is the pin at the top of the circle. Rotating clockwise from there is Bashful with an accordion, Dopey playing drums, Sneezy playing a lute or stringed instrument, Happy playing a flute, Doc playing a large stringed instrument like a bass, Sleepy playing a clarinet or similar instrument, and Grumpy playing cymbals.
Each gold-metal pin is approximately 1 1/4" tall. The reverse of each design has a single post with nub, textured background and "© WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS." Although it is not listed as limited edition, given that none of the pins have thus far been listed on Pinpics, it would be a logical assumption that the pins were made solely for this framed set.
