Released at the D23 Event "Attraction Rewind" held at WDW November 21 - 23. Pin was at the Mickey of Glendale D23 shop that was set up for the Event.
This pin has a aqua green turtle with white wings and brown/tan shell and part of the wind vane movement portion of the Tower of the Four Winds tower.
The Tower of the Four Winds was a part of the 1964 New York World's Fair "It's a Small World" pavilion. Created by Walt Disney for Pepsi-Cola. This was a ground-breaking attraction that was later moved to Disneyland and recreated at Walt Disney World.
The Tower of the Four Winds was designed by legendary Disney artist Rolly Crump. It was a massive wind-powered mobile filled with whimsical creatures that moved at the direction of the breeze.
