Front Description
This is pin 1 in a series of 6 pins commemorating the 6 decades of Disneyland, including two additional pins featuring Holidays and Opening day. The first piece is by artist Jeff Granito and covers 1955-1964.
It depicts Mermaid Lagoon with the mermaid on the left side of the pin and a parrot from the Enchanted Tiki Room on the right. It also features, the Matterhorn, the Monorail, Skull Rock, and the ship Columbia. Each of the pins has a hidden diamond commemorating Disneyland's 60th Diamond Celebration.
