Front Description
A whimsical Mickey Mouse stick pin design showing Mickey facing forward. As placed on an article of clothing, you would see Mickey from the neck up, with his right hand fingers placed as though he were holding the top edge of something. His left hand is above his head and to the right in an open-hand wave. Wide open eyes, big smile. The pin is a gold-colored metal, with only Mickey's nose, ears arms and eyeballs in black. The bottom portion of the pin (the pin point protector) is his two shoes, also in gold color.
The pin measures 1.25" (32 mm) wide by 2.125" (55 mm) tall. (c) DISNEY, NAPIER (r) is on the back of Mickey's foot.
This is similar in design to a upside down Goofy stick pin design (#21714). The pin is part of a 13-pin mega-jewelry box Mickey & Co. set produced by Napier. From other data, it has been suggested that the set was sold in Disneyland as a gift set, as well as in certain department stores. The pin was also offered, apparently, as an individual pin (as were other pins from the set).
