Front Description
A military-looking gold metal Mickey Mouse design showing Mickey's head facing right (open mouth smile) on a round medallion with stars around the border and thin textured piping at the edge. It has a small hoop at the top for a short dangle connection to the upper portion of the pin, which is a ribbon-like bar with (from top to bottom) red, white and blue stripes. A small gold "rope" is at center of that portion, top to bottom.
The pin measures 1.375" (35 mm) wide by 2.375" (60 mm) tall. (c) DISNEY, NAPIER (r) is on the back of the medallion portion.
The pin is part of a 13-pin mega-jewelry box Mickey & Co. set produced by Napier. From other data, it has been suggested that the set was sold in Disneyland as a gift set, as well as in certain department stores. The pin was also offered, apparently, as an individual pin (as were other pins from the set).
