Front Description
The grand champion of Mickey & Co. gift sets - produced by Napier - this is a substantial 13-pin collection all housed in a beautiful 14" x 7" black with gold trim gift box. Black felt on the inside with specific cut-out areas for each pin and a puffy jeweler's protective cloth over all. The inside top of the box shows a large Mickey & Co. by Napier logo.
With individual Napier Mickey & Co. items selling individually for $15 - $20, it is quite possible this set - back during its original release in the late 1960s or early 1970s (when some of these pins have been reportedly purchased) - sold for $195 - $260.

The pins range in size from 1.25" to 2.5" in height. They are all gold-tone in their color, with enamel paint on many of them. Most are half-figural. Several features Swarovski crystals or rhinestones; others have dangler elements. Two are stick pin. All except two have the brooch-style straight back with clasp, through the two small Mickey and Minnie pins are post.
These pins were reportedly sold in a shop on Main Street USA in Disneyland, as well as in certainly jewelry stores / department store jewelry departments. An exquisite collection of Napier Disney offerings.
