Front Description
Mickey Mouse (left top, turned left), sits on top of a light purple letter B. His right hand lifts his yellow sunglasses off his face and his left arm is rested on the top part of the letter. Open mouth red smile. He is dressed in blue pants or jeans and white shirt with a light purple necktie. The style. The design is part of an alphabet series sold in department stores back in the 1980s. It was manufactured by Monogram Products for The Disney Company and was sold on a small black jewelry card which said "DISNEY CHARACTER LAPEL PINS."
The pin measures 3/4" (19 mm) wide by 1 1/16" (27 mm) tall. The reverse has the old brooch-style back. Textured back with "DISNEY MFG by Monogram Products Inc., TAIWAN."
The pin is part of a series of alphabet pins featuring Mickey; over the years, there have been several such Monogram letter series - each with a slightly different font used.
