Front Description
Mickey Mouse is turned slightly left as he is snow skiing in California's Snow Valley. The brooch-style gold metal pin shows Mickey in yellow ski pants, light blue shirt and hat / cap with yellow trim, white gloves, and black skis with white shoe boots and skier poles with black ends to them. The skier's arms are at shoulder height and his skis are slightly crossed as if he were working his way up a hill. Pink face; open-mouth smile. At the base of the pin is a gold bordered red rectangle with "SNOW VALLEY" in gold.
The pin measures 1" (25 mm) wide by 1 1/8" (28 mm) tall. The reverse has a straight back with clasp, cross-hatch texture and a simple "© DISNEY" at the bottom. One of a series of ski resort pins created during that time period.
