Front Description
Goofy faces right as he is snow skiing in Sun Valley. The brooch-style gold metal pin shows Goofy in purple ski pants, blue shirt with yellow trim and yellow hat / cap, white gloves, and yellow skis with yellow shoe boots. Goofy's right ski is tipped upward and the left ski downward. Knees bent and arms lifted to chest height. White face; closed-mouth smile. At the base of the pin is a gold bordered red rectangle with "SUN VALLEY" in two lines, in gold.
The pin measures 3/4" (20 mm) wide by 1 1/8" (28 mm) tall. The reverse has a straight back with clasp, cross-hatch texture and a simple "© DISNEY" at the bottom. One of a series of ski resort pins created during that time period.
