Front Description
Mickey Mouse is kicking up some powder as he snow skis in North Carolina. He faces forward, leaning toward the right, with a spray of white snow on the left side of the design. His head is turned right, eyes left. Dress is red pants, yellow shirt, black gloves and ski shoe boots, red and black goggles on his forehead, white skis pointed forward. One ski pole can be seen in Mickey's left hand, going to the right (red and gold). Pink face, open mouth smile. At the base of the pin is a gold bordered red rectangle with "SKI N. CAROLINA" in gold. Gold fill behind some of Mickey, lined in texture.
The pin measures 1" (25 mm) wide by 1 1/8" (29 mm) tall. The reverse has a straight back with clasp, cross-hatch texture and a simple "© DISNEY" at the bottom. One of a series of ski resort pins created during that time period.
