Front Description
This is a Cast member pin from The Disney Store. It has Jiminy Cricket holding a sign that says "Trivia Competition." It's about 1.5" tall. Cast members received the pin if they won the trivia competition from their store, which was held once each year. This pin was actually awarded when you participated in the Trivia Competition at the District Level. I also believe that cast members from the home store of the National winner received pins as well. You may also notice if you look carefully, that "Disney" is misspelled. On the pin it is spelled "DIENEY". Jiminy is holding a book with his right foot sticking out in front.
The Trivia Challenge was retired after the 1999 competition; consequently, this pin is no longer given out.
This is a real cloisonne' pin and has a curve to it when viewed on edge. It is 1.25" (32mm) in height from his right foot to the top of his hat.
Back Description
The rear is a waffle pattern with a box in the center that has "©Disney" and "Taiwan" beneath it. The original clasp is a tie tack clasp.
