Front Description
Daisy Duck is featured as the female Buddha holding an orange vase with a plant - she wears a pink gown/robe with pink hair bow, and an aqua blue veil/headdress. It is gold metal with a serated edge and a black background and $10 in the upper right corner. The pin presents itself as a postage stamp.
The Chinese characters on the pin read "Journey to the East in '97 to have fun", presumably to Hong Kong which returned to Chinese rule in 1997. This is a reference to the Chinese folk tale "Journey to the West", the tale of a Buddhist Monk who travels from China to the West (India) on a quest, with fellow travelers and meeting many entities along the way. The postage denomination on the pin are in Hong Kong dollars. The source of the pins is unknown. Pin measures 1-1/8 x 1-5/8 inches.
