Front Description
One of 12 MICKEY HEAD ICON pins released in a framed set at EPCOT in the late 1990s. This pin was ONLY available as part of the set, never having been sold individually. It features the great MICKEY MOUSE, in his classic "ta-da" pose and '90s styling, standing in front of a real-cloisonne blue (that cobalt blue that only real cloisonne can achieve) Mickey head.

The EPCOT logo printed on the mat was in use from mid-1996 (until 2019), and the following comment shows that the set had already been forgotten by 2002. The real-cloisonne pins were originally released in 1997, so this framed set must have been sold shortly after that.
[April 2002 comment found on dizpins.com: Friends of the Dizpins Vast Research Department report that this pin was from a pin set for Epcot. In the set were each of the country's flags as the Mickey ears. And this pin, full-figure Mickey, with his arms outstretched in front of a blue Mickey-head icon, was a bonus that came with it. The mat around the 12 pins was light-gray and had the EPCOT symbol printed in red at the bottom.]
