This pin is similar to the other 2002 Continuing the Tradition pin (#8693). It was given out to the guests at the Animal Kingdom's Pin-O Rama!! Pin Event. It is an LE of 500. It has a green border around the outside with gold lettering reading CONTINUING THE TRADITION (CTT). Inside the border, Mickey and Minnie are in Safari Gear. Minnie is on the left of the pin with a khaki safari hat with a red bow on it, a blue vest, white shirt and a red scarf. Mickey is on the right of the pin with his arm around Minnie's shoulder. He is wearing a khaki safari hat with a blue band, a brown vest, and a khaki and white shirt. They are both wearing pin lanyards and are holding out their hands with pins in them. At the bottom of the pin there is a red ribbon with gold lettering that reads Disney's ANIMAL KINGDOM.
The event sold out on April 13th and some extra guests were able to join the event but did not get this pin-from Guest Services.
