PP114644    Disneyland Cast Member 5-Year Service Pin (Castle)

This pin is almost identical to pin #4711 which is described as an original 5-year Cast Member service pin. I received both the #4711 and this pin in a purchase from a retired Cast Member's estate who worked at Disneyland, so it either pre-dates #4711 or came immediately after. As you can see from the castle, this version shows the castle with an open drawbridge while #4711 does not. The castle is also slightly larger on this version, though the pin size itself is the same. This piece was accompanied small piece of stationary (folded card), that it was attached to when given to the Cast Member. The stationary bears an embossed image identical to the pin. The one I have in my possession is blank inside, but has pin holes to show that the pin came upon this card.
