Front Description
Dai-Ichi Life was created in 1902 and was Japan's first mutual life insurance company. This rectangular recreation of a poster design for the Mickey Mouse cartoon short, "The Haunted House," is from the company's three-pin boxed set (#115763). A late 1920s-style Mickey Mouse faces slightly left with his left hand pointing up and his right hand pointing down. His shorts are green and his shoes orange-brown. Behind him is an orange rectangular background with the words "hello folks!" at left. Beneath him (black letters on green background) is "MICKEY MOUSE." Under that is "HAUNTED HOUSE" in black, with cream-white background and orange lines above and below. At bottom is another green background strip with "Produced by WALT DISNEY" in black. The border is of the rectangular pin is gold color.
The pin measures 3/4" (20 mm) wide by 1 1/8" (28 mm) tall.
