PP115776    Japan - Mickey Mouse - Touchdown Mickey - Daiichi Life

Front Description

Dai-Ichi Life was created in 1902 and was Japan's first mutual life insurance company. This roundish design commemorates Mickey Mouse's role in the 1932 cartoon, "Touchdown Mickey." It is one of three pins in a boxed set (#115763) put out by Dai-Ichi Life. Mickey faces right, as the quarterback of a football team; his right arm is cocked back to the left (as if he were ready to throw the football) and his left arm extends to the right. Left leg is lifted. Pie-eyed and open-mouth smile. Colors of grays and black, along with a creme-white.

The pin measures 1 1/4" (31 mm) wide by 1 1/8" (28 mm) tall.
