Front Description
The front of the pin has the text "Disney VoluntEARS", with a subset of "Disneyland Resort Walk Team". The text on the bottom of the pin reads "AIDS WALK 2002".
The back is stamped "2002 Walk Team Exclusive". The face of the pin has a white background, and shows the "character shoes" of Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy, all in walking motions, with Goofy walking in the wrong direction.
The pin distribution will be limited only to people participating in the walk. In 2001, there were 375 walkers, and only 65 met the $50.00 + fundraising limit to qualify for a pin, so this first pin may be a VERY limited collectible!Since this is a charitable function, and all the proceeds go to AIDS Walk, not Disney and the $50+ contribution is fully tax-deductible!
Update 6/2/02 - There were just over 1,000 Disney Walk Team Members at the event. However, there were far fewer pins distributed. I'd approximate 75-100.
