This is the black pre-production prototype of pin 25137. This pre-production version differs from both the production and prototype versions in many ways:
1) Smaller size
2) Black metal color
3) Glitter element of flames, Dragon’s eye and Maleficent’s eyes
4) V-neck of Maleficent’s cape is a complete black fill
No ‘PP’ or ‘AP’ stamp appears on the backside of the pin.

The evil fairy Maleficent from Disney's "Sleeping Beauty" changes into a ferocious fire-breathing dragon on this mesmerizing black-finished collector's pin, one in a series of oversize collector's pins celebrating the power of change as embodied by some of Disney's most memorable characters. The Transformation pin series is a Disney Auctions exclusive created in limited editions of 100 pins each, with 25 Maleficent pins offered here individually, while the remaining 75 complete sets of six character pins.
