Front Description
This is a pin of Mickey Mouse saluting the American flag. This pin is presented to Veterans who participate in the WDW daily flag retreat ceremony, 360 days of the year. After presentation and conclusion of the ceremony, the Color Guard leader admonishes the receiving Veteran to never sell or trade the pin due to its unique honor and recognition by WDW of the participating Veteran's military service.
It says "Walt Disney World" in the black oval on the top of the pin, and it says "Magic Kingdom Veteran Of The Day" in the white banner on the bottom.
Along with the "veteran of the day" pin the recipient is also given a certificate which has black border, the American flag and Mickey Mouse in the background saluting and the wording says, "Magic Kingdom proudly honors (veteran's name) as our honorary veteran of the day, this ___day of ___, ____"
