Front Description
This pin depicts the Carousel of Progress attraction from Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland which debuted at the 1964 World's Fair. The first layer of this pin-on-pin features the 1940s scene from the attraction. The father, John is wearing a red sweater and khaki pants. He is sitting on the same layer as the marquee that announces Walt Disney's (in gold) and Carousel of Progress in yellow on a purple background. The middle layer of the pin is comprised of gold gears that state: Turn of the Century, 1920, 1940, and Progress of Tomorrow with a large gear across the top of the pin. The back of the pin includes the ODPT logo 2016 and the Disney Park Pack stamps. It also states its edition size: 500. The Carousel of Progress originally debuted at DLR and was moved to WDW. 2014 marked the 50th Anniversary of the attraction. It was renamed Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress.
