This is part of the 2016 Piece of Walt Disney World Resort History series. Disney's Polynesian Village Resort opened at the Walt Disney World Resort on October 1, 1971. Featuring a South Seas theme with longhouses named after Pacific Islands, it is also one of the monorail stops for the Magic Kingdom resorts. This pin contains a piece of the resort's original room number signs that were replaced during the 2015 renovation. Mickey is sitting down in a lounge chair, wearing a blue shirt, white pants and strumming a ukulele in front of the Polynesian Resort logo. He is a pin-on-pin element. There is a palm tree in the background.

Dark bronze-like tone with Mickey Waffle pattern. Single top center pin with one nub. Five boxes: Official Pin Trading logo dated 2016, LIMITED EDITION of 1500, ©DISNEY MADE IN CHINA, debossed FAC number. Final box reads: A Piece of Walt Disney World History. Contains a piece of the room number sign from the original resort.
