Front Description
Silver 3D Cast - Black tarnished silver in appearance, this looks like a casting of the crest on a rectangle plaque. It has the basic Society of Explorers and Adventurers (S.E.A.) logo in the center, surrounded by the four symbols representing the organization's charter: armillary sphere representing Romance in upper left; galleon representing Adventure in upper right; artist's tools representing Innovation in lower left; and the compass rose representing Discovery in lower right. At the top is the three tiered crown, at the bottom are two old design dolphins, and bottom center is a single clam shell, with both scroll and filigree type artwork along all four sides. 3 inches tall by 2 inches wide, pin is of solid construction.
The back has the sorcerer hat waffle pattern, two posts and two boxes; first has WDI Exclusive, LE 250, & copyright Disney China stamp, second has FAC-000122-16300 and is on six of the SEA pins.
Released at the D23 Destination D Amazing Adventures expo held at WDW 18-20 November 2016. Walt Disney Imagineering has developed more of the backstory for the exploration and adventure themed elements company wide. New artwork, pins, bolo lanyards, and other products were introduced in support of the effort. SEA Membership includes: Harrison Hightower III, Lord Henry Mystic, Barnabas T.
