This limited edition pin released at the Disneyland Resort commemorates the 25th Anniversary of the Space Mountain attraction. The background spins around with "space" images and rocket cars. The pin reads Space Mountain Opened May 27, 1977 25th Anniversary.
The bottom horizontal oval of this pin glows in the dark and as you can see by the photo the spinner part of this pin has a hidden Mickey in the moon, but what you cannot see is that opposite the moon on the spinning disc is a Space Mountain train!
The back of this pin also includes fun facts about Space Mountain. It reads: "Construction Started June 1975, Construction completed May, 1977, Total Track Length 3,500 ft., Height Top Spiel 118 ft., Building Diameter 200 ft.
