Front Description

One of six pins from the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 50th ANNIVERSARY boxed set released at Disneyland on 16 Mar 2017. The top of each hinged pin looks like a treasure chest with booty sitting in front of it. It sports a large diamond-shaped, stained-glass element in the center which serves as an escutcheon surrounding a keyhole. One of the coins in the foreground booty (bottom-left corner) bears a 50 (in honour of the ride's anniversary). When opened, one of the scenes from the ride is exposed. 2,000 each of five of the six pins from this LE500 boxed set were also sold individually on cards. The sixth pin was only available in the boxed set.

 

The top of this pin has a GREEN stained-glass element. The inside scene shows the drunken pirate and his parrot sitting above an archway.
